Learn Crystal Healing

I want to learn crystal healing - where do I start ?

The thing to do firstly is to sit down and decide whether you just want to find out some more about crystals and crystal healing, so that you can generally become more knowledgeable about a subject that you are interested in, - or whether you want to study it to a level where you could practice it and earn a living from it.

So, if you just want to find out more information about crystals and crystal healing, there are many basic introductory courses all over the country which are usually organised and run by your local crystal shop. This should therefore be your first point of contact.

If you wanted to see a wider range of courses on offer, you should consider visiting a Mind Body Spirit Show when one is next on in your area, as there will generally be several types of crystal healing courses on offer there.

If, however, you really wanted to learn as much as possible about crystals and crystal healing, even to the extent of setting up and running your own crystal healing practice, then the best five groups of people to contact are,

1) The ACHO, The Affiliation of Crystal Healing Organisations.

A couple of decades ago there didn't seem to be any one single representative body that had overall control of all the crystal healers and what they learnt or indeed, how they practiced it. Identifying this gap, 10 schools and colleges who already offered crystal healing training courses, banded together back in 1988 and established rules and regulations for crystal healers in the UK.

I believe there were 10 schools/colleges initially, but there may now be 24 or more members in all, and the ACHO is now a nationally recognised representative body for crystal healing.

All the member colleges have agreed that they will teach the same syllabus to the same standard and will also teach students not only technical competence but also moral and ethical issues. Some also teach how to set up and run a practice once a student has qualified.

You should initially have a look at their web site here. They have details there telling you all about their organisation plus the 20 odd or so schools that make up their membership.

2) The CHF, The Crystal and Healing Federation

The Crystal and Healing Federation is an umbrella organization whose purpose is to set and uphold constant high professional standards of training and practice in the fields of crystal healing, spiritual healing, stress therapy and Bach flower remedies. You can view their web site and then you can see for yourself what they have to offer, just click here.

3) BCH, British Crystal Healers

British Crystal Healers is another umbrella body for schools and colleges teaching crystal healing and crystal therapy to agreed standards. Their website is to be found here.

4) The CMA, The Complementary Medical Association

The CMA Promotes standards of excellence in complementary medicine and their website is worth a visit too. See them here. You can find CMA registered practitioners near to where you live and CMA colleges near to you also.

5) The GRCCT, The General Regulatory Council for Complementary Therapies

The GRCCT is the UK federal regulator for complementary therapies and maintains a national register of complementary therapists. Their website can be found just here.

Whichever way you want to go, just learning a little or making a living from it, do enjoy it - and remember that there's an amazing website you can visit at www.hehishelo.co.uk who can supply you with more top quality crystals than you'll ever need !
