 Physical
Named after its composition of Sard (an old name for Carnelian) and Onyx. This stone is said to invigorate the sensory organs and to improve the perception of the senses. Regulates body fluids and the activity of the intestines.

Mental/Emotional
Sardonyx encourages stability, self-confidence and generates a hopeful attitude. Attracts friends and helps to lift depression. It helps us to understand the things that happen to us each day. It helps to bring happiness to marriage and to "live-in" relationships. Diminishes hesitation and provides courage.
