Black Tourmaline, A Grade This is a visually stunning piece of Black Tourmaline. With its Y shape formation, it catches your eye instantly. A definite Statement Piece ! It is generally agreed that the very best Black Tourmaline comes from either Brazil or Namibia. This wonderful A Grade piece comes from the Karibib District of the Erongo Region in the West of Namibia. The crystals are well defined and also very shiny. The creamy white/buff coloured mineral that has formed on the rear of this piece is a mix of Feldspar and tiny, tiny Smokey Quartz crystals. It's worth noting that Namibian Black Tourmaline is actually found this shiny. No one has polished up this piece. What you are looking at is exactly as it came out of the ground !
