It's crafted from a piece of Ethiopian Opal that has been left in the matrix in which it was found and both the Opal and the matrix have been polished smooth !

There are flashes of colour in the Opal that show up as you move it around. Typically, Ethiopian Opal flashes red, yellow, green and blue but not every single opal has every single colour.

The silverwork is stamped with 925 on the bail.

The colour flash of this particular opal shows mostly as red, green and yellow.
