Flashy, A Grade, Lepidolite Mica Heart, 60mm
Flashy, A Grade, Lepidolite Mica Heart, 60mm
you will receive this exact heart Now this is something different ! As you may know, Lepidolite is a purple, lilac or mauve variety of Mica. It frequently forms with Quartz and many, many of the Lepidolite Hearts that you see for sale everywhere are actually Lepidolite with Quartz. The Quartz actually makes it easier to cut and shape the stone. Sometimes you'll see Hearts with a much higher percentage of Lepidolite Mica present and these are often a more solid purple/lilac/mauve colour. This Heart however, is A Grade 100% pure Lepidolite Mica ! It's sometimes called Gemmy Lepidolite. It has a different feel, being actual sheets of Mica rather than Mica in Quartz. It has the usual purple/lilac/mauve colour of Lepidolite that you'd expect, but it also has the Most Amazing Shine when the light catches it just right ! In fact, some of our photographs were "glared out" the shine was so bright. We had to do some of them over again ! How someone has managed to polish Mica without it falling to bits is a mystery to us - but polish it they have. And what's more, the end result is a solid feeling, weighty, substantial stone. Just amazing !! We hope you like these as much as we do ! Lepidolite is often used by crystal healers to stabilize mood swings and soothe the emotions. What a stunning Heart - how beautiful and how amazing ! Size approx. 60mm x 50mm x 25mm
Weight approx. 80grms Lepidolite Properties and Meaning
