Almandine Garnet Tumbled Stone

This variety of Garnet, the red Almandine Garnet, is the type that is much favoured by jewellers and is frequently fashioned into rings, pendants, earrings and more. That "flash" of red is very sought after and is, of course, much enhanced by the jeweller cutting, faceting and polishing the stone.

These stones, although they are in the Tumble Stone section, have not actually been tumbled until they are round and smooth. Rather, they have been hand polished in order to retain much more of their natural look. When mined, each stone occurs naturally with 12 sides. This hand polishing retains much more of the "feel" of the natural stone.

Extremely useful for allowing us to channel spiritual energies into our physical body.
