Another home grown stone. This was first discovered in Marston Magna in Somerset, hence the name Marston Marble.

Technically, it's a Limestone rather than a Marble but what makes it special is that it is full of tiny rare Ammonite fossils. Some of these rare Ammonites have wonderful names like Promicroceras Martonensis and Xiphoceras Buckman, but all are from the Jurassic Period and lived approximately 200 Million years ago !

The stone has been set in sterling silver which has been stamped with 925 on the reverse.

This really is a lovely pendant - and a talking point too !
