This is a beautiful natural Prehnite crystal cluster from Western Australia.

It is untreated and has a gorgeous soft, almost apple green colour to it.

Prehnite crystallises as either round, globular "balls", as "stalactite" shapes, or, most commonly, like this piece, i.e. with lots of small crystals all intergrown and usually formed over other rocks. Very often it is hard to see one crystal from another as they only have feint markings and seem to merge together.

This piece is very typical of Prehnite and has an excellent shape and colour.

It's also a great size piece to work with, not a tiny small piece !!

This is a truly gorgeous piece !
