Prehnite is a gorgeous green mineral that forms crystals in several shapes. They can be Massive (not "big" but the name given by Geologists to many, many tiny crystals all tightly packed so as to form one large crystal) Reniform (kidney shaped) Spherical (little round spheres) or Botryoidal, like this piece (many small rounded crystals all interlocked). This particular piece also has some deep brown/black crystals of Epidote present. In fact, we loved this piece from the first moment we saw it, it's completely natural, but doesn't it look just like a cuddly teddy bear waiting for his tummy to be tickled !!! We also included a photo where we held it up close to a bright light source so that you can more easily see the Epidote crystals within it. They are nearly all visible on the front with the back being virtually 100% Prehnite. This is a wonderfully shaped natural piece with a great colour and we feel sure it will be treasured in it's new home. Gorgeous ! Size approx. 63mm x 50mm x 41mm
