This amazing pendant with it's bright colours is just so vibrant !

This is a style of pendant that has been made by the Native American Peoples living in the South West of America for generations back.

Incidentally, Mojave is pronounced mo-HAR-ve.

It combines Turquoise from either the Kingman mine or the Bisbee mine with the colourful shells of the Spiny Oyster and the two are fused together with molten Copper. This is a skill that goes way back.

Today the Spiny Oyster shells are recovered as a by-product of the seafood industry and are recycled into jewellery and other artefacts.

This is a beautiful pendant set in sterling silver which is stamped with 925 on the bail.
