This is a lovely sphere cut from a super piece of Naturally Occurring Strawberry Quartz.
Strawberry Quartz is Clear Quartz with mineral inclusions of either Iron Oxide, Hematite, Goethite or Lepidolite in varying proportions. These inclusions give the Quartz a sort of Strawberry-ish colour, hence the name.
It is found in Mexico and Brazil.
This sphere is a very good colour and has been nicely polished.
A super sphere for your display or for your crystal work.
