Blue Aragonite Palm Stone Yes, we asked the same question when we bought these ! Goodness, they really are bright blue - are they dyed ? Well, lets get to that in just a minute but we wanted to add this palm stone to our website as Blue Aragonite palm stones don't come along every day of the week. Blue Aragonite is a powerful Earth healer and a stone that both enhances and intensifies our psychic abilities thereby helping us to attune to, and understand, communication from spirit. If you like Blue Aragonite, then this palm stones is probably as blue as you are ever going to find ! However, it almost looks "too blue" to be completely natural and we know that quite often Blue Aragonite is, shall we say, "helped along by having it's colour enhanced" ! Make no mistake, Blue Aragonite is a completely natural mineral and it's most definitely blue - but frequently more of a powder blue. Darker blue specimens have been found in the past and in an attempt to simulate this deeper colour, stones are often treated. Just to add in another layer of complexity, the colour enhancing treatment (well lets just call it dying) is often carried out on the mineral Hemimorphite as it is very close in form and structure to Blue Aragonite, but is "bluer" to start with. This dyed Hemimorphite is then sold on as Blue Aragonite. So you always have to ask yourself with Blue Aragonite, is it really Aragonite or is it perhaps Hemimorphite? Is it naturally that colour or is it dyed? So, we've put this palm stone on our website, really for the folk who like Blue Aragonite that shows a strong colour, and also for those of you who may like to own one simply for the sake of interest or curiosity.
