you will receive this exact piece This is a stunning Circular Disc of polished Moss Agate cut quite thinly so as to be completely see through. We have a few of these for sale (of which this is one) and they are all only about 2-4mm thick. The reason for this is, of course, so that you can see the amazing patterns within the stone when you hold it up to a light or to a window. The "Moss" in the stone really jumps out at you ! (Just for the record, there is no actual moss in Moss Agate. The branching and fibrous forms within the stone that look so much like moss are actually Oxides of Manganese or Iron that were present within the stone as it was forming millions of years ago ! ) It has been cut from a gorgeous quality piece of Moss Agate and very nicely polished. However, because it is an Agate, the surface is not 100% dead flat smooth. There are natural cavities, "caves" and crevices within the stone and some of these you may be able to feel. This is simply the way that Agate forms ! Moss Agate gives us the inner strength to carry on with things until they are finished. It also opens us up to the energy of the natural world around us. This is, without doubt, a gorgeous piece of Moss Agate ! Size approx 56mm in diameter x 3mm thick
