Orca Agate Polished Pebble
This is an unusual form of Agate from Madagascar. It has been named for both the beautiful depths of the oceans, and because of the black/dark blue background with the white markings, Orca Agate has also been named after the majestic Orca Whale.
Although Agate is a fairly common stone found in various forms all around the world, this formation, Orca Agate, is much rarer, being found only in Madagascar and nowhere else.
Known by crystal healers as The Forgiveness Stone, Orca Agate helps us to look deep inside ourselves and to find out who we honestly are. Working with Orca Agate we can then free ourselves from negative feelings and then draw on the empowerment that Orca Agate provides us with to make sure we take back control of our own lives.
This pebble sized piece has been polished into a gorgeous natural shape. Like many Agates, the structure of the stone often contains natural pits and cavities so expect these as it is uncommon to find perfectly smooth pieces.
Another interesting thing to note is that the photos here are very sharp and focused. The white patterns against the grey/black of the stone are sometimes naturally out of focus, even to the human eye !
