This unusual subject for an animal carving is the humble snail !

It's cut from a truly lovely piece of Labradorite and it displays a gorgeous blue flash of colour on one side and on the other blue again, but along with small areas of gold green and purple !

A lovely piece of Labradorite plus an unusual subject make this probably one of the very few snail carvings out there !
