Rare Maw Sit Sit Pendant
This is an absolutely wonderful pendant created from quite a rare stone - Maw Sit Sit.
The colour is a bright emerald green with occasional black flecks and is very attractive.
The stone has been cut into a lovely elongated tear drop shape and set in sterling silver that is stamped with 925 on the bail.
For those of you who like your rare and unusual stones, this one is both of those things !

Maw Sit Sit is a complex stone made from Chromium enriched Jadite and Albite Feldspar. The colour is a gorgeous bright emerald green with black flecks or veins.
It is only found in Northern Burma, and nowhere else in the world.
It was first identified back in 1963 by the late Swiss gemologist, Edward Gubelin who named it after the village near where it was found, in the foothills of the Himalayas.
Maw Sit Sit (some people pronounce it as Maw Si Si, as if the last two words didn't end in the letter t) benefits our heart chakra by opening us to an awareness of our emotions. It helps us to become more emotionally mature and supports us when we are in relationships.
It helps us to be much more accepting of life in general and teaches us to take advantage of the opportunities that this life may present to us.
Maw Sit Sit is an excellent stone if we need a bit of loving and care ourselves. It gives us permission to take care of and to nurture ourselves.
