Watermelon Tourmaline Tumbled Stones

Now this is something a little rarer !

These are super quality tumbled stones of gorgeous Watermelon Tourmaline.

You really don't see that much Watermelon Tourmaline for sale these days. If you do then it is usually "Bi-Coloured" Tourmaline i.e. small thin rods with Pink Tourmaline at one end and Green Tourmaline at the other end that is simply labelled as Watermelon Tourmaline.

What we have here though are genuine tumble stones of natural Watermelon Tourmaline which clearly show the green "rind" and the pink "flesh" resembling the watermelon fruit that gives this rare stone its name.

Incidentally, Watermelon Tourmaline is the only naturally occurring pink and green stone. There are of course pink stones and there are of course green stones and some of these form together, Rubies in Zoisite for example, but Watermelon Tourmaline is the only naturally occurring stone with both pink and green present together.

These colours make it a fantastic stone for the Heart Chakra of course !!
