At 90mm long, this is a good, large size skull.
Skulls have become more and more popular over the years and some think that this is because they hark back to ancient times and we need to draw on that energy now - now more than ever !
What is interesting is that skulls like to be together. The "feel" or "energy" from a single skull is not just doubled when you place it close to another one, it is increased significantly. People who are into skulls will often have a large collection of them.
They are of course ideal for meditation. Once you have sat with your skull and meditated with it a couple of times, it will often reveal its name to you.

It helps us to find the hidden factors surrounding a situation so that we may take the best course of action to address that situation. It helps us to retain our balance in times of change. Black Obsidian is also very good for helping us to let go of the past and breaking past habits that are no longer useful. It inspires creativity and promotes sincerity.
Spiritual
Traditionally, Black Obsidian was the stone used for "gazing" or "scrying" and can provide us with an insight into the future. It helps to strengthen our power of prophecy.
