Rare Pink Amethyst Polished Geode Slice No1

This is a slice through a rare Pink Amethyst geode that has been polished on both sides.

It is an absolutely wonderful shade of deep redish pink !

Pink Amethyst comes from the region of Patagonia in Southern Argentina, which is the only place in the world where Pink Amethyst can be found.

Pink Amethyst works on our Heart, Crown and Third Eye Chakras and teaches us to live our life in a much more, open, accepting and non-judgemental manner.

It is an excellent crystal for both spiritual and personal growth and it helps us to trust more in the Divine energy that surrounds us all.

Pink Amethyst was discovered only a couple of years ago and comes from just the one place. The very Southern tip of Argentina in an area known as Patagonia.

The colour range is from pale pink, through a peachy-pink, to a deeper more intense pink.

The colour comes from inclusions of Hematite within the Amethyst and scientists and geologists have done tests using a method known as Spectroscopic Analysis to determine the make up of this new crystal.

They have determined that it is much more than Amethyst with hematite inclusions and that actually, because of the structure and colours of the crystals, this new find can genuinely be called Pink Amethyst.
