Lovely tumble stones of Luxullianite from Cornwall. Their orange/pink and black colouring makes them quite eye-catching !

As an interesting note, the Duke of Wellington's tomb in St Pauls Cathedral, London, is made from polished Luxullianite.

Luxullianite is a rare type of pink/orange Granite with sprays of Black Tourmaline found in it. (Rather confusingly, it is also known as Luxulianite, Luxulyanite and Luxurianite ! ) It is named after the village of Luxulyan in Cornwall where it come from. It is believed that it may help with strengthening our immune system and in treating disorders of the skin, face, head, muscles and hair. It is also said to be beneficial in the treatment of arthritis, rheumatism and circulation problems.
