Turquoise Tumbled Stone from The Sleeping Beauty Mine We've managed to locate another handful of these gorgeous stones from the legendary Sleeping Beauty Turquoise Mine in Arizona, now sadly closed and no longer in production. What we have since discovered is that some wealthy person bought up a lot of the mines output before it closed for good and he occasionally decides to sell a small amount here and there. The rest of the time he likes to just look at it ! A bucketful is now selling for around $50,000 ! So its not gone for ever, it'll just be getting ever more and more expensive. Sleeping Beauty Turquoise with its gorgeous blue colouring and minimal black inclusions, and frequently made into jewellery, is what most people think of when they think of Turquoise. These are quite small but gorgeous "flattish" stones - just so lovely ! Size Small, approx. 15mm
